You’ll enjoy 50% off your energy charges during the hottest months of the year in Texas. If you enroll in the plan before the discount period begins in May, then your 50% off energy charge discount will begin on your billing date in May and continue through the billing cycle that begins in October.

You’ll receive 50% off your energy charges during your bill cycles running from May to October. 

Example: Your billing date is on or around August 30. You’ll get 50% off your energy charges for your August 30 through October 30 billing cycles, then the 50% off energy charges resume for your bills from May 31.  

You’ll enjoy a competitive fixed rate for the length of your term.

2 Valid for new and existing Texas customers. Must be in good standing with Direct Energy. The Texas Summer Savings plan has an energy charge that is 50% lower from May to October. This plan does not qualify for the Auto Pay discount.

The Texas Summer Savings plan has an energy charge that is 50% lower for usage in billing periods beginning from May 1 to October 31. The applicable seasonal energy charge will be applied to all usage in billing periods beginning in the applicable months. For example, for a billing period beginning April 20 and ending May 21, all usage for that billing period will be billed at the energy charge rate applicable to the month of April. Only the energy charge will be billed at the lower seasonal rate. TDSP charges will be passed through at 100%.
